For those currently visiting the Mosel or living close to it, we want to draw your attention to the annual presentation of the Klitzekleine Ring which will take place in Traben-Trarbach this Saturday, September 27, 2014, from 16.00 onwards .

Never heard of “Der klitzekleine Ring”? This is an association of winemakers from the Traben-Trarbach area set up in 2006. They include such top Estates as Vollenweider, Weiser-Künstler, Martin Müllen and Weingut O., which regularly feature in our reports.
The association also set out to rescue some steep hill old vines vineyards (see the picture!) from being uprooted. The members produce every year one or two wines from the current "rescued" vineyard under the Bergrettung label.
