This 65-page strong Issue includes Part II of our extensive 2024 Vintage Report and Part II of our 2024 dry German Riesling Report. Here is what is in store.
The 2025 growing conditions were “stress free” to quote one grower, but the harvest was anything but “stress free.” Does that mean a difficult vintage? On the contrary, it’s one of the most beautiful and versatile vintages of recent times!
We review the growing conditions, describe the wine styles, and share our buying guide.
Part II of the Vintage Report includes 7 detailed Estate Reviews (with 70 wines sampled). It also provides detailed tasting notes for another 120 wines from a further 19 Estates. The report also includes recent releases from past vintages (2024, 2023, and 2022).
On top of classics from great established Estates, we also unearthed some beauties from upcoming and still largely unknown new growers.
The Issue also includes Part II of our 2025 dry German Riesling report with 140 wine highlights tasted, many of which are GGs from leading Estates (these wines have just been released!).
